Special Guest: Dr. Angel Williams
Dr. Angel Williams received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from South Carolina State University in 2004. She went on to earn her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2007 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Since then, she has gained experience in working in various settings such as: Skilled Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Home Health, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, and Outpatient Orthopedics. Angel is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association Orthopedic section. She has completed several other distinguished certifications including spinal manipulation therapy (Cert. SMT), vestibular rehabilitation specialist (Cert. VRS), dry needling (Cert. DN); and a Diploma in Osteopratic.
Angel’s passion is to better serve her patients by providing evidence-based physical therapy; recently completing a post-professional fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy. She now carries the notable credential as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).
After sustaining a traumatic brain injury in 2017, Dr. Williams mission is to demonstrate to her patients that they can achieve their goals.
When Angel isn’t treating patients, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
