"I’m an award-winning designer and photographer. I received my BFA in Graphic Design in 1997 from Maryville University in St. Louis. I’ve worked with clients all over the world, helping them connect with their audiences. I’m passionate, not only about the creative process, but the industry of design. I’m a steward of my design community and the founding president of AIGA Asheville, the 75th chapter of the organization. I spend a fair amount of time connecting with other designers and geeking out on innovative ways to use design as a tool for communication and to inspire practices that better the world.
I’ve been professionally photographing people and their environment, since 2004 and am an insured and FAA licensed remote pilot. For me, design and photography often overlap.
With a deep understanding of the need for philanthropy, I have volunteered for the international non-profit, LEAF Community Arts, since May of 2006. I served 2017 as their Board President. In addition, I commit to doing a pro-bono project each year for non-profits that are working for the greater good of humanity.
I live in Asheville, NC with my amazing wife and 4 kids, including identical twin daughters."
